History of the Company
The company traces its history back to 1930.
The company traces its history back to 1930, when agriculture needed an organisation to help with machinery and its repair. The Minsk Machine and Tractor Station (MTS) was set up. At that time its fleet consisted of six «Fordson» and four «International-6» tractors. At the end of 1932 the MTS fleet received ten «KhTZ» tractors. In 1935-1936 SKhTZ-NATI crawler tractors arrived at the MTS. By early 1941 the fleet had added ChTZ tractors and numbered more than twenty tractors of all makes.
During the Great Patriotic War the MTS estate was seized by the Nazi invaders. The MTS resumed work almost immediately after the district was liberated (in 1944).
In 1956 a workshop was built. In 1958 the Minsk MTS was reorganised into a Repair and Technical Station (RTS). The RTS took on the mechanisation of livestock farms and the repair of tractors and farm machines for the district's collective and state farms.
In 1960 the Minsk RTS was reorganised into an RMTS, and in 1961 the Minsk District Association «Selkhoztekhnika» was set up on its base, carrying out major tractor overhauls, making non-standard equipment for livestock farms and restoring parts.
From 1963 the association's workshop specialised in repairing DT-20 tractors, and from then on the volume of repaired machinery rose sharply.
In 1965 the workshop buildings were reconstructed. The latest methods of repair, manufacture and restoration of parts came into use. New shops were opened for restoring, making, steel-plating and chrome-plating parts, and for restoring parts with vibration-contact units and submerged arc welding. In 1968 the workshop began making junction boxes and power cable. Disassembly and assembly of tractor components and units were mechanised, which raised labour productivity considerably.
From 1973 the repair workshop specialised in T-25 tractors, using the latest methods of repair, manufacture and restoration of parts. A station was built and an engineering service was set up to repair and maintain high-power tractors.
In 1975 a car service station opened, designed for 600 vehicles a year. It carried out TO-1 and TO-2 maintenance, on-demand and routine repairs, washing and diagnostics.
In 1977 a service was set up to monitor new and overhauled machinery, and it is still working. Its job is to fix defects and file warranty claims for faulty machines during the warranty period.
In 1978 the company took over maintenance of fuel depot equipment at the district's collective and state farms. Two teams were formed to service and repair tanks and fuel pumps.
A great deal of work went into training and upskilling staff, both for the district's farms and for the company's own employees. In 1978 a training building with 400 places was opened.
Opening a general-purpose workshop in 1980 made it possible to increase maintenance and routine repair of high-power tractors.
In 1986 the Minsk District Association «Selkhoztekhnika» was reorganised into the Minsk District Association «Rayagropromtekhnika».
In 1999 the Minsk District Association «Rayagropromtekhnika» set up a mechanised field unit to help the district's farms grow and harvest crops.
In 2000, by decision of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, OJSC «Minskaya Rayagropromtekhnika» was established on the base of the Minsk District Association «Rayagropromtekhnika».
The company repeatedly took first place in the national socialist competition (1969, 1976, 1980, 1982).
Pursuant to Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 40 of 27 January 2003 «On improving the management of agro-industrial organisations», by decision No. 426 of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee of 06.06.2003, OJSC «Minskaya Rayagropromtekhnika» was reorganised into OJSC «Minsky Rayagroservis» by merging into it the open joint-stock companies «Minsky Rayagropromsnab» and «Minskaya Rayselkhozkhimiya». The change improved both the company's finances (a much smaller management staff and lower costs of maintaining it) and its work with partners (less red tape and delay).
To improve the management of organisations serving the agro-industrial complex of the Minsk region, on 12 February 2009 the Minsk Regional Executive Committee adopted decision No. 126 on reorganising OJSC «Minskoblagroservis» by merging OJSC «Minsky Rayagroservis» into it. On 30.04.2009 OJSC «Minsky Rayagroservis» ceased operations. OJSC «Minskoblagroservis» became the legal successor to all its rights and obligations.
By decision of the management of OJSC «Minskoblagroservis» of 30 April 2009 and its supervisory board of 30 April 2009, the branch «Minsky Rayagroservis» of OJSC «Minskoblagroservis» was established.
The general meeting of shareholders decided to reorganise OJSC «Minskoblagroservis» by spinning off OJSC «Minsk Agroservice».
Based on the decision of the founding meeting of OJSC «Minsk Agroservice», OJSC «Minsk Agroservice» was established on 20 December 2010.
